  3. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

why did you waste your time posting to bump a thread that is essentially, not porn, to the top?

    fucktard.

And yeah, you just gotta pay attention to the news, the 9 series comes out in Febuary, ill buy that then

And modified 8800? How is it modified?

    For ZYZX ~~~

Sorry this took so long, the only thing I could say is that Windows doesnt pick up the drivers because the card isnt well, top of the line, or really used a lot anymore...

    go to > https://www.nvidia.com/page/geforce4mx.html

Download drivers (use your old card) and then boot with your old card in, wait a few minutes... then shut down, remove the power cord, install the "MX4000" and boot back up, see if it works then

And post a pic of your computers system setup (inside) I might find you a better card, that card is only Direct X 8, theyre at Direct-X 10 right now buddy, DX8 isnt really going to be supported much longer

Driver problem? or possibly you are still defaulting to the built in video card. Try disabling the old card and enabling the new one

or the 8800 gt 512mb 3 way sli...

id wait for the 9 series, and the SLI is really no big difference unless your running high resolutions...

and yeah, ZYZX like I asked before, do you have the really long, PCIe x16 ports??

ok well here's my take on the situation, if your not getting ANY signal to the monitor whatsoever it could be that the graphics card isn't powered correctly (see picture for power connector) thats one idea, stemmed from my own problems with installing my 8800 GTX..... thats actually the only idea i have really. If you could see the boot loader then it would be an easier problem, if it's not outputting anything at all thats far more difficult to solve if it's not a power problem...

it wont be a power problem, the mx4000 is an ancient card by computing standards and gets all the juice it needs through the agp port. (that connect pointed out on the above post would be used to provide power for a cooling fan) As with any problem i reccomend a process of elimination to find the source of the issue, replacing one component at the time to see what works. Starting with the easiest/cheapest! In this case it would be the driver software and replacing that is a simple matter of uninstall and reinstall otherwise it is a matter of trying the monitor / vga cable / video card in a different computer or swapping it out for another one. Obviously this isn't the easiest of options but it will find the problem. Of course it could just be that the card has simply lost the will to live...

No it doesnt the manual labels it AGP and it is shorter than the 3 PCI's
The motherboard is an ASUS K8V-MX AMD Athlon 64 processor.

The card works, they ran it when I took it back to the shop. I simply have no driver available for it, and nvidia no longer has one listed for the 4 series on their website.

In system both monitors are showing enabled and the card is shown as the default monitor.

Now if someone could Email me a driver or if I can get it on a floppy from the store, which I haven't done due to the holidays, It should be OK.
