2020 Heisman Trophy finalists and betting odds
The top four finalists for the 2020 Heisman Trophy were announced on Thursday, and Alabama teammates DeVonta Smith and Mac Jones are favorites to win the award after a dominant 11-0 season capped by an SEC Championship victory and a trip to the College Football playoff.
Smith and Jones are joined by Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence, who missed two games due to COVID issues and was unable to match his statistical production from a year ago, and Florida QB Kyle Trask, who led the nation in passing yards and touchdowns.
Smith was unstoppable for the Crimson Tide this season, and in his fourth year in Tuscaloosa set a new school record for career touchdown receptions. He led the nation with 1,511 receiving yards - 318 more than the next closest player. If he wins, he would be the first wide receiver to win the Heisman since Michigan's Desmond Howard in 1991.
